1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or transacting on Maibury ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Maibury connects accredited healthcare practices ("Buyers") with verified medical wholesalers and distributors ("Suppliers").
2. Verification & Regulatory Standards
Suppliers must maintain valid MHRA distribution licenses, CE certifications, or applicable local regulatory accreditations (e.g., ISO 13485). Maibury reserves the right to suspend any account failing compliance checks.
3. Escrow Payments & Milestone Releases
All financial transactions are processed securely via Stripe Escrow. Funds remain held in vault escrow and are released according to agreed 50/50 milestone triggers (dispatch and verified delivery).
4. Disputes & Refunds
In the event of damaged items or specification discrepancies, buyers may freeze escrow funds within 7 days of delivery. Admin arbitration will evaluate evidence and trigger appropriate Stripe refunds or supplier payouts.
5. Limitation of Liability
Maibury serves as a procurement technology marketplace and is not liable for medical product misuse, transit delays caused by customs, or third-party logistics failures beyond platform control.
